Dog Behavior Training - Dog Whispering

Most dog owners are in search of dog obedience training tips and information to help you better understand how to correctly train their dog. There are lots of dog obedience training and dog psychology resources available. Here are some common dog behavior problems and some important dog obedience training methods to correct them.

Here are some basic dog whisper rules for best dog obedience training results:

    1. Many puppy and dog behavioral problems are the result of separation anxiety.

    2. Most dog behavior problems (such as barking, biting – aggressive behavior) stem from a poor communication and lack of understanding dog psychology. Simply put, your dog is not aware of what is expected of him.

    3. Practicing proper dog obedience training at an early stage in development is a most effective technique to correct dog behavior problems, and also to prevent any future problems.

    4. Set boundaries of acceptable and unacceptable behavior for your dog.

    5. Be consistent, make it simple for your dog:

    a. Be clear that you are always the alpha dog or pack leader.
    b. Make it clear what is unacceptable behavior - every time.
    c. Make it clear what is acceptable behavior - every time.

    6. Your dog is not intentionally behaving poorly. In the vast majority of dog behavior problems there will be a cause or trigger which ignites the behavior. The sooner you recognize these triggers the sooner you will correct the dog behavior problem. Remember that your dog wants to please you.

    7. Be Patient

    8. Be careful you are not rewarding behavior that you are trying to eliminate. One example of this would be if your dog is barking at outside at the door, you then let him in the house. You're encouraging and rewarding the behavior. He will undoubtedly repeat this behavior.

If you are consistent and patient (basic dog whisper tenets) in applying the proper training techniques you are sure to achieve pleasing results with your dog.
