Dog Breeds

Welcome to Dog Obediences new dog breeds section. We are proud to provide you with photos, videos and well thought out descriptions and characteristics of a variety of dog breeds.

Some basic questions a prospective dog owner should consider before selecting a dog breed are:
  1. How much time do you have to exercise your dog?

  2. Will your dog be spending time around children?

  3. How much time will your dog spend alone each day?

  4. Are you are anyone in your household prone to allergies?

  5. Are you willing to take the time necessary to properly train your dog?

  6. How large of a dog should you consider?

  7. Do you have outside space adequate for the dog you are considering?

The answer to those questions will help you determine the right breed of dog for you. Make sure to do all your research before you purchase or adopt a dog. Just because that cute Great Dane is suitable for your neighbor's lifestyle, doesn't mean that it will fit into yours.

By selecting the right dog breed, or mix, for you, you'll have an enjoyable relationship with the dog and a rewarding experience.
